Terms & Conditions
These terms cover your purchase from Cedar Stone, trading as
The Lehenga Room, of 19, K K Street, Kannanar Nagar, Padi, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu 600050, India. Placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who you are buying from
The Lehenga Room is operated by Cedar Stone, a business registered
in India at the address above. Contact: cedarstonestore@gmail.com,
+91 80157 60402, Monday to Saturday, 10:00–18:00 IST (UTC+5:30).
2. Prices and currency
All prices are in USD and include no hidden fees.
Shipping and any applicable tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
Import duty, where a destination charges it, is collected by the courier on delivery and is not included in this total.
We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
3. Your order
Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we email you a
confirmation. We may decline an order — if a piece is unavailable from our
supplier, if we cannot ship to your address, or if the order looks
fraudulent — and if we do, you are refunded in full.
4. Stock
We hold no stock. Every piece is bought from our supplier in India after you
order. If a piece turns out to be unavailable we cancel that line and refund
it in full within two business days. See
5. Product descriptions and measurements
We write our own descriptions from the attributes our supplier gives us. We
do not reproduce our supplier's marketing copy and we do not claim more than
the product supports.
Where a size chart is shown, figures are body measurements in inches
following the standard Indian sizing convention, and carry a normal
tolerance of about half an inch on handmade pieces. Free-size pieces have an
adjustable waist and no table.
Photographs are our supplier's own, used with their permission. Colors vary
between screens and a shade on your monitor is not a guarantee.
Where we do not hold a fact — fiber percentages, care instructions or the
exact seam allowance on a semi-stitched piece — the site says so. Ask us and
we will ask our supplier before you commit.
6. Delivery
We dispatch from India and provide tracking. We commit to dispatching
promptly; we do not commit to a delivery date, because transit and customs
are not within our control. See Shipping Policy.
7. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Set out in full in Cancellation Policy and
Returns & Refunds, which form part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of
your own country or state.
8. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what
happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has
it. You can erase your account from your account page at any time; past
orders are retained in anonymized form because tax law requires it.
9. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload or scrape this site, and do not resell our
photographs or descriptions. We will withdraw service from anyone who does.
10. Liability
We are responsible for supplying the goods you ordered, and for putting
things right when we do not. We are not liable for indirect or
consequential loss — for example a missed event where the courier was
delayed — beyond the price you paid for the goods. This does not exclude any
liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Pricing and description errors
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order that was priced or
described obviously wrongly on our site. We will tell you what happened and
offer the piece at the correct price.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one
published when you placed it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu
have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory
consumer law where you live.
