Sizing
How do I know what size to take?
Measure yourself, then read the size chart on the product page. Do not work
from the size on a dress you own — Indian sizing runs one to two sizes
smaller than US sizing for the same body. The
measuring guide walks through it.
What is the India size number?
It is the bust measurement in inches. India 38 means a 38 inch bust. US
sizes sit thirty below, so India 38 is roughly US 8.
What if I fall between two sizes?
Ready to wear: take the larger one. A finished garment can be taken in
locally; it cannot be let out. Semi-stitched: take the smaller one, because
the seams are left open.
Some products have no size chart. Why?
They are free size, with a drawstring or elastic waist meant to cover a
range. Those pages give the skirt length so you can check it against your
own waist-to-floor measurement.
The clothes
What is the difference between ready to wear and semi-stitched?
Ready to wear arrives finished. Semi-stitched is sewn to shape but left open
at the seams for a tailor to set to you. Full explanation on

What comes in the box?
It varies by piece, and each product page lists exactly what is included —
skirt only, skirt and dupatta, or a full set with a choli. We only list what
the supplier lists.
Do you know the fiber percentages?
Not for every piece. Our supplier gives trade fabric names — "Roman",
"Tussar Silk", "Mal Mal Cotton" — rather than percentages, and we will not
convert a trade name into a percentage we have not been told. We are asking
them for it. If you need to know for an allergy or a care reason, email us
and we will ask on your behalf before you order.
Ordering and delivery
Where does it ship from?
India. Our supplier sends it directly to you, with tracking from dispatch.
How long does it take?
Dispatch is usually within two business days of your order. Transit time
after that is the courier's, and we do not quote a delivery date we cannot
stand behind. Your tracking number is the honest answer, and it is in your
dispatch email and under My Orders.
What does shipping cost?
$15.00 within the US, free over $120.00. Other countries are priced
at checkout.
Will I pay import duty?
Possibly. Import duty, where a destination charges it, is collected by the courier on delivery and is not included in this total. We do not collect it and we cannot predict it.
Where do I find my tracking?
Under My Orders if you have an account, or straight from
the link in your dispatch email. Ordered as a guest and lost the email?
Look your order up with the order number and email address.
Money
What currency are prices in?
USD. Our lehengas run $55.00 to $300.00.
Can I cancel?
Yes, before we place the order with the supplier — usually a few hours. See
